Morning Routine and Total Body Workout Fun

Shoulders are very sore! The overhead squats from Sunday morning left me with massive DOMS, but after yesterday's off day (just a walk and yoga), I was able to have a good total body session today.

For some reason, I feel more vigorous (?) with this total body approach... allows me to stick to manly exercises!

1A) DB Press
1B) Hang Clean

2A) Snatch Grip Deadlift
2B) 1-Leg Hip Extension (okay, not so manly, LOL)
2C) Plank (also... not so manly, ha)

If you need help planning your training or professional goals for the year, check this out: Read my 1-2-3 goal setting article here

Also, I sent this to a coaching client today... I know it'll help you.

It's how to build a very simple Morning Routine to help you get ahead in 2018....
- Get up 15 minutes earlier than you are now. That's it. No
#5amClub is needed for you... it's not essential for success.
- Do 2-3 minutes of deep breathing.
- Get some lemon water, tea, or a greens drink.
- Go to your kitchen table and brainstorm solutions for your #1 problem or opportunity.
- Work on this for 15 minutes.
- Then get on with your day.
- At the end of your day, do a brain dump.
- Then prioritize your brain dump notes into tomorrow morning's to-do list of 2-3 major items, that's it.
- Then make some bulletpoint notes on your to-do list items so they are easy to start in the morning.

Overcome obstacles. Close clients. Eliminate debt. Grow your wealth. Build your legacy. Repeat. Succeed.

Please share this with someone that needs a simple plan to overcome their 'too complex' morning routine that is leaving them stressed out! Thanks!

Today's Kickbutt Mindset Tip:

There will be days when you struggle, and that is okay. Just never, EVER give up on what is important to you. Realize everyone else goes through this, and not quitting is what separates the winners from the losers.

Trying to control others is a recipe for disaster... but controlling what you can (thoughts, words, and deeds) is the zen approach to life and a KEY to your success in 2018. Happy New Year!
