Ballantyne's Day Deadlift Workout

Got to the gym late this morning because I had an excellent extended writing session this morning. Working on a new TT for Abs 2K13 program.

Plus, it's Ballantyne's Day. LOL. Saint Ballantyne is the official patron saint of fat burning and intense workouts. On Ballantyne's Day, he banishes belly fat by making you work really, really hard. That's why everyone loves him!

My training today was a good deadlift workout:
1) Hang Clean - 3x6
2) Sumo Deadlift - 3x3
3A) Rack Pull - 4x8
3B) Military Press - 4x3
4) Good Mornings - 3x10

Over in the personal development side of my world, I'm giving my 12 Rules/Life Philosophies an update. I'll be making some slight changes...have you set your own rules for living? Read mine here:

Today's Kickbutt Mindset Tips:
Put your head down and get the work done that you can control. Don’t get upset by things you can’t control. Go with the flow. Breathe. Work on improving everything else. Don’t take set-backs personally. Keep on moving ahead. Don’t allow yourself to get knocked off course by negative people. Stay strong, get stronger, and keep on pushing.

Here's what I read every morning to help me keep on pushing

By the way, if you're looking to get a raise, here's what you need to do:

Then again...

“Limited money and family obligations have never stopped a man who REALLY wanted to do something, although they provide excuses for a man who is not really up to the creative challenge in the first place.” – David Deida

Stay strong,

PS - Do it now!

"One day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now." - Paulo Coelho
