Walking and Eating in San Francisco

Long day yesterday, literally.

I had 27 hours because of the time zone change from EST to PST.

So here's what I did...

5am - 15 minute kb-bw workout

6am - Athletic Greens drink

8am Breakfast on plane - omelet, apple, fruit, almonds

Made a time zone switch on plane

11am - almonds and cashews --- ALMOST ordered a coke zero. held off

12:30pm - tried a top secret sample of a BioTrust organic protein bar (great!) and more almonds

1pm - 3 hour walk around the city. what can I say about San Fran that hasn't already been said before. It's really fantastic. I hit Market Street, Nob Hill, Chinatown, Union street to The Presidio, Pier 39 and Union Square.

4pm - picked up some raw vegetables for an afternoon snack

7pm - Dinner at Bourbon Steak in San Fran. For those foodies, it's a Michael Mina restaurant. It was okay, nothing amazing. Rib eye with sauteed spinach and mushrooms. Bedros ordered the brussel sprouts but without all of the toppings, and they were great. Had a half glass of a Shiraz. It too was okay.

They bring you fries instead of bread to start the meal. That could be dangerous. I had 2-3 fries of each variety (they bring you 3 flavors).

10pm - Had been up for 22 hours. That's too long.

3:30am - Now. Lots of water. Squat workout (depending on the legs) in a couple of hours. Then a meeting with some personal trainers, including TT Trainer, Kate Vidulich, an Aussie living in Australia. You'll meet her - and she might even be speaking - at the 3rd TT Summit.
